Tui –Na is one of the branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  “Tui” means push and “Na” means grasp or lift.  Tui-Na is a specific type of massage technique.  Tui-Na   stimulates acupressure points or surface regions of the body to restore physiological balance in the body via restoring flow to the channels and promoting blood circulation.  By restoring balance to the body, it supports the body’s natural functions.  Through balancing the body,     Tui-Na can also be used as preventative medicine, strengthening tendons, ligaments and muscles, and promoting normal function of the body.
